Recently went on a vacation to the beautiful island of Curacao for a few days. After some exploring of the local terrain and color. Here's a sneak peek into the panoramic frenzy i went into during my visit. Other images to come.. 

 Over the last few days, I have heard rumors from the locals of newly found predators lurking the back alleys of our area. Few sightings had been recorded, but the terror was to great to tell the story. After hearing of a recent sighting, I scurried at the chance and could only grab my camera to capture what i was to behold. Fueled by adrenaline and fear of the unknown, I rushed to encounter these legendary beasts. Low and behold without having to look far, I found myself face to face with death itself. 

Feasting on a freshly slaughtered prey, I found myself being stalked by hungry eyes. Jowls drooling from the violence of the fresh kill. I stood frozen contemplating whether or not i was the next meal. 
In the end, my confidence and courage paid off. The beasts didn't at all feel threatened by my presence and spared me,my life! Leaving me with a desire to search out more of these magnificent creatures and tell their story. 

 A door swings open, leaving behind the cold arctic winds. The musty, sour smell of fermented spirits seductively enticed the sense of smell. Greeted by raspy voice followed with a hint of hack from years of smoking two packs a day. Two fingers thrown up in the air, 2 beers 2 shots get slammed onto the weathered counter of a wooden bar that's seen a lifetime of swallowed up dreams and hopeless aspiration. The dark lit corridor seeming like an endless journey to a smoke filled room of empty bottles and used cigarette butts, lit only by a single hanging fixture. Rowdy crowds surround a chalk rimmed rectangle of worn felt. The crash and bangs of endless collisions. The cheering and jeering of mastery and mishaps. AH... The life of a Poolhall Junkie. 

There comes a time when an eye composes a picture. The soul adds its two cents to the organization of the imagery. The mind sends out the memo to the hands and fingers.. And the rest is history. Here are some solely pencil drawn images i created a couple years back. Plenty of time and effort were placed into these images. Posting these images have re-sparked a desire to break out canvas and large paper and once bring that determination to life! 

In the spirit of the Holidays i would like to wish everyone a season of good cheer, health,happiness,and  beautiful time with friends and family. Tis the season to be grateful to those you have in your life and to remember the good memories of those who have passed before us.
